PICO California creates innovative solutions to pressing community issues; translates faith into action; builds a legacy of leadership; and raises a new vision for California.

PICO seeks to create new public policies and to change existing public policies in health care, education, housing, fair wages, immigration and other areas that emerge as priorities from our member congregations.

Today, our leaders are actively organizing in 73 cities in Northern and Southern California, and in over half of the State Assembly and Senate districts. We have working relationships with both Democratic and Republican representatives on federal, state, county and city levels.

Through its member organizations in each community, PICO unites people of diverse economic, racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds.

PICO California is the California statewide project of the PICO National Network, a national coalition of faith-based community organizations.
